Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations, the Clinical Data Analyst will support the business intelligence needs of the Diagnostic Imaging (DI) Department. The Clinical Data Analyst will support the provision and interpretation of data to support departmental decision-making. The Clinical Data Analyst will support the DI quality consultants in the management and implementation of DI systems.

Accountabilities:

  • Extract, generate and analyze reports from various databases for internal and external stakeholders
  • Use of various reporting tools (crystal/MSM/SQL) to extract, manipulate and compile data for operational needs
  • Assist in ensuring that procedure mapping is accurate and up-to-date
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (DI, Information Services) to facilitate any system or process changes required to support operational needs and support staff training
  • Assist with testing required during any system changes or updates that will impact DI
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Radiology information system
  • Provide support to DI quality consultant, peer Clinical Data Analyst and backfill as required

Qualifications

  • Advanced diploma (three-year college diploma) in business administration or computer-related program
  • Three to five years experience in health care data analysis
  • Knowledge of hospital computerized/electronic systems (MSM, Meditech)
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data using various software tools
  • Experience and knowledge in DI services strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications such as Access and Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong passion for work and ability to provide adult education
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, self-direction and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail and quality-oriented
  • Ability to travel between all Osler sites
  • Ability to present information and express complex ideas clearly and effectively to a non-technical audience

Additional Information

Hours: Currently Days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours, with a hybrid schedule, working both on-site and at home (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

ANNUAL SALARY:
Minimum: $70,083.00
Maximum: $87,613.50
