About the role Syndio licenses software to companies to help them find and fix pay equity issues and stay in compliance over time. We’re looking for someone who brings a combination of analytics and customer service skills to tap insights that will help guide customers as they build a comprehensive workplace fairness strategy.   Why this job is exciting
  • Conduct project-based and ad hoc data analyses customized to customer questions about pay equity and other workplace fairness metrics.
  • Analyze data from our data lake and public data sets, and conduct online research to support our sales and marketing teams.
  • Support domain experts and customer success managers in building templates, documenting processes, and organizing information.
  • Develop reports and templates in compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and country-specific pay gap reporting regulations
  • Extract reports from database systems to assist with internal and customer needs.
  • Participate in comprehensive ongoing training to gain in-depth knowledge about the nuances of pay equity, including statistics, analytics methods, and pay equity laws.
About you
  • You are passionate about our mission to close pay gaps and create fairness in the workplace. 
  • You are a self-starter who thrives working independently, with minimal supervision, in a collaborative, kind, and supportive environment. 
  • You are deeply curious, willing to explore all aspects of the product to understand and identify new opportunities to meet customer needs.
  • You are comfortable manipulating data in Excel and can collaborate with team members to solve tough analytical problems.
  • You’re comfortable conducting online research, particularly quantitative research.
  • You are willing to ask questions and turn to others for support and expertise. 
  • You’re excited to own and drive initiatives within Syndio that leverage and build your skills and interests.
  • This is a remote first role, but you must live and work from the Netherlands

Extra Credit

  • Data visualization skills (e.g. Tableau)
  • Statistical skills like conducting multivariate regression analysis, chi-squared tests, and other statistical tests
  • Experience with R or Python
  • Experience presenting quantitative findings to customers
  • Experience in analytics supporting compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive or country-specific pay gap reporting
  • Background in at least one of the following areas: compensation; diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I); economics; or employment law

Role progression

  • Within 1 month, you’ll have completed a comprehensive and supportive onboarding process to help you understand the product, the business, and the pay equity space. 
  • Within 3 months, you’ll be fully ramped and supporting internal team members with statistical analysis and research to meet customer needs.
  • Within 6 months, you’ll be working independently on analytics and research projects as a partner to internal team members and customers.

  • 💰 Competitive Compensation.The compensation range for this position is €51,000 - €60,000 per year. This includes holiday allowance. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise.

Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for our Data Analyst position. Please note that this is what we expect the process to look like; we may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision.

  • 30 min interview with a member of our Talent Team
  • 45 minute zoom interview with the Hiring Manager
  • Take home assignment 
  • Three video interviews with several team members (Domain Expert, Analyst, Product) - 2 hours total
