Data Scientist III - Charleston, SC

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Data Scientist III to join our team in Charleston, SC.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret personnel security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings. Create dynamic data reports.

EXPERIENCE:

• Ten (10) years of professional experience with data science.
• Experience with:
  • Software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts.
  • Frequent scripting language use, such as Python and R and using packages commonly used in data science applications or advanced analytics.
  • Data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives
  • Applying Structured Query Language (SQL), Non-Structured Query Language (NoSQL), Application Program Interface (API) Building, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines, Web Application Servers, or Search Index, 5) using programming languages and products such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, Numpy, Requests, or Antigravity and applying complex mathematical and statistical concepts, 6) applying statistical and operations research methods and tools and, 7) employing spreadsheets for data manipulation and visualization.

EDUCATION:

• Master's Degree.
• Relevant industry certification such as CompTIA Cloud Essentials / MTA CCSK / CompTIA A+ / CompTIA Sec+ / EMCDSA /Cloudera CCDH /Certified (HCAHD) (Hortonworks) / CISSP / CCP (Cloudera) / MCPD / MCSD / MCSE / Private Cloud / CCAH (Cloudera)
