  • The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst is responsible for auditing processes, maintaining database and reporting integrity, prepare reports, and supporting multiple initiatives. Audit responsibilities include the review, data analysis, monitoring of procedures, performance and system management. This position is responsible for contributing to Hospital-wise and departmental quality  initiatives to ensure overall compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards including Department of Health, Joint Commission International and other agencies.
  • Support the selection of measures throughout the hospital at the hospital wide level and at the hospital department of service level.
  • Coordinate and organize like measures throughout the organization and provide support with measurement activities related to hospital priorities.
  • Support data collection by creating form to collect data, identification of source data, data validation and analysis, implantation improvements, and evaluating if the improvements were sustained.
  • Ensures organizational compliance with required   KPIs and mandated quality indicator, both internal and external like DOH JAWDA, OSHMS, NMC Healthcare Corporate KPIs.
  • Utilize, integrates, and interprets data to assist organization in its improvement efforts, and promote optimal patient outcome.
  • Audit data management processes in accordance with established auditing processes established and assist in making recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze all assigned areas for opportunities for improvement and make applicable recommendations for process, system, procedure, and operational changes to improve healthcare value and quality.
  • Manage performance improvement projects, flow, and alignment to assure milestones and key performance indicators are met within defined parameters.
  • Documents the results of projects, and submit other documentation as required.               
  • Work in conjunction with Clinical Audit Manager to establish patterns or trends that require additional training or corrective action.
  • Ensures organizational compliance with required KPIs and mandated quality indicators, by doing Audits and Validation for both internal and external KPI’s like DOH JAWDA, OSHMS, NMC Healthcare Corporate KPIs.
  • Support regulatory readiness, quality measurement, public reporting, and pay-for-performance programs and initiatives (e.g. DOH Jawda Program),
  • Using healthcare data to achieve administrative needs and goals.
  • Understanding data storage and data sharing methods.
  • Developing reports and presentations.
  • Communicating analytic insights to management.
  • Requires education level normally acquired with the completion of an AA degree, business school or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in UM, CM and auditing in a managed care healthcare setting not required but is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Medical or Clinical Terminology
  • Knowledge of regulations and statutory language and interpretation
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field with exposure to Oncology
  • Knowledge of medical ethics, with particular reference to the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of his patients
  • Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong MS Office skills with expertise in MS Word and MS Excel
