Description & Requirements

The mission of the Engineering COO Office is to engage with issues and risks that face the  Engineering department as a whole and to design and implement appropriate interventions to mitigate or resolve them. These interventions usually require collaboration across the department and often require liaising with external departments as needed.

In support of this mission we:

• Manage Engineering-initiated programs and projects that span the department

• Collaborate with Engineering leaders to develop engineering-owned solutions to problems and drive adoption across the organization.

• Design policies and thoughtfully drive compliance 

• Implement Engineering-wide change management initiatives 

• Fill gaps in the organization, owning processes that don't fit naturally in an Engineering department or require continuous collaboration across department boundaries

• Represent Engineering as a stakeholder in externally-sponsored projects and serve as trusted communicators with clients and Bloomberg partners.

 

We are seeking an experienced and creative Business Analytics / Qlik Developer passionate about combining traditional BI with cutting-edge AI/ML and NLP capabilities available in Qlik Cloud. In this role, you'll help shape an AI-ready data ecosystem, build resilient analytics pipelines, and support compliance efforts with emerging regulations like DORA. Your tools will drive strategic execution, empower senior leadership, and enhance operational decision-making across the firm.

We'll trust you to:

• Immerse yourself within the Engineering COO team to design, develop, and implement business analytics solutions using Qlik Sense Enterprise and Qlik Cloud.

• Design and enhance Qlik Cloud solutions incorporating AI-driven analytics, NLP, and ML-powered insights.

• Build an AI-ready data infrastructure that is scalable, governed, and designed to support advanced analytics.

• Ensure data integrity, quality, and effectiveness in all work outputs.

• Support regulatory compliance initiatives by embedding governance and traceability into analytics workflows, aligned with DORA and similar mandates.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, translating complex data needs into scalable and intuitive applications that highlight opportunities and accelerate decisions.

• Engage with stakeholders to identify needs and deliver creative, iterative solutions.

• Maintain documentation including requirements, testing materials, and issue logs.

• Update and improve data models for performance and functionality.

In order to be successful, you should:

• Have a working knowledge of Data Infrastructure (e.g. Warehouse, BI, Analytics, Big-Data).

• Be proficient in developing, architecting, and supporting BI platforms.

• Engage stakeholders to frame business challenges, uncover insights, and deliver data-driven visualizations that influence decision-making and drive outcomes.

• Have strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Understand Qlik Cloud's advanced features including Insight Advisor, AutoML, and NLP dashboards.

• Be familiar with operational resilience best practices and data observability.

• Understand regulatory frameworks like DORA and their impact on analytics systems.

You’ll need to have:

• 5+ years experience with Qlik Sense Enterprise/Cloud, with strong scripting and set analysis skills.

• 5+ years of database expertise, including advanced SQL and dimensional modeling.

• Demonstrated experience with ETL tools and data pipeline development.

• Strong reporting and storytelling skills using data visualization.

• Experience gathering business requirements and managing project scope.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

We’d love to see:

• Consulting experience with demonstrated success solving diverse analytics challenges across multiple organizations, industries, or functions

• Experience with Qlik Mashups, AutoML, Insight Advisor, and NLP-driven analytics.

• Background with BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, or Sisense.

• Web development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python.

• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and observability tools.

• Familiarity with AI model monitoring, interpretability, and ethical AI.

• Knowledge of operational resilience and compliance frameworks such as DORA.

Salary Range = 150000 - 190000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
