Position Overview:

Archer RMIS AI is seeking a skilled Senior Quality Engineer with a strong background in quality assurance and a focus on monitoring and observability using Datadog. We are looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented individuals responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies and plans for software products and systems.
  • Design, create, and execute automated and manual tests to ensure product quality.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with developers to resolve them.
  • Implement and monitor quality metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Use logs to monitor application performance, detect anomalies, and ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate testing and monitoring into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Review and analyze system specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing to ensure software stability.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in quality assurance and software testing.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks for both automated and manual testing.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools, specifically Datadog.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
  • Ability to design, create, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of testing and monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience in quality assurance and software testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools is required.
  • Certification in quality assurance or software testing is a plus.
