Your team

You will be working as part of the global Political and Country Risk Team in Kraków. Our mandate is the assessment of political & global risks, assignment of country and related ratings, oversight of group country limits and development of macroeconomic scenarios for stress testing. All related rating and model processes rely on sound data management and governance practices in order to ensure high quality standards and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

In our Internship Program, you will have a chance to gain insights in the areas of country risk analysis, rating assignments and model development. You will support the team in the relevant rating and model processes, as well as in projects in the area of data and process automation/digitalization. This is an ideal way to gain the practical work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharpest minds in risk control. Your paid internship will last 6 months with the possibility of extension, based on a 40 hour week.

Your expertise

You have:
•bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (economics or other social sciences, finance, statistics, etc.) with strong focus and interest in data
•basic understanding of economic data and macro-economic concepts
•strong data analysis skills and experienced user of MS Office and Microsoft Excel/VBA
•working knowledge of Python required
•previous exposure to AI models in coding environment as well as to R, Alteryx, and Power BI are beneficial
•practical experience with rating models is a plus

You are:
•a quick learner with strong attention to detail and focus on quality
•well-organized, motivated and creative team-player, who can also work independently
•fluent in English language, both spoken and written
