Within ABR, the Data & Analytics team plays a key role in transforming how data is used to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Business Performance – Data & Analytics team and support a number of strategic data initiatives. During your internship, you will:
- Support the migration of legacy data applications to next-generation tools like Databricks and Power BI
- Contribute to the creation of foundational database tables within the ABR Datalake
- Help develop data engineering standards and best practices
- Participate in active data projects including data pipeline development and dashboard creation

What we expect of you
We are looking for pre-final year (meewerkstage) WO or HBO students with a strong interest in data, technology, and problem-solving. You bring:
- Educational background in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
- Basic knowledge of tools like SQL, Python, Power BI (experience with Databricks is a plus)
- Analytical thinking and a structured problem-solving approach
- Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and concepts
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in an international, cross-functional team
Previous experience in data-related projects (academic or practical) is a plus, but not required.

Deliverables
By the end of your internship, you will have:
- Supported the migration of data applications to Databricks and Power BI

- Developed tangible data pipelines or dashboards that drive analytics at ABR
Please note: To be eligible for this internship, you should currently be enrolled at a (Dutch) University of Applied Sciences (HBO) or a Research University (WO).
