Our team

The Rail Distribution Platform team at Amadeus plays a key role in managing real-time data, analytics, and performance monitoring in the travel and mobility ecosystem. The team focuses on building and maintaining data-driven insights to support product development and operational excellence.

Role Overview

As an apprentice, you will contribute to the development of dashboards, KPIs, and data pipelines using tools such as Kafka, Databricks, and Prometheus. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to align insights with business needs and build scalable analytics tools.

Key Strengths & Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare data from the Rail Distribution Platform and monitoring systems.

• Ensure data quality through validation and preprocessing.

• Design and develop KPIs tailored to product team needs.

• Analyze data using Python and Scala to identify trends and insights.

• Build interactive dashboards using Qlik and Grafana.

• Integrate real-time monitoring data from Prometheus.

• Document analytics pipelines, dashboards, and findings.

• Present conclusions and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

• Proficient in Python and Scala; strong knowledge of SQL.

• Familiar with Kafka, Spark, and Databricks is a plus.

• Experience with Qlik and Grafana is preferred.

• Knowledge of Prometheus monitoring tools is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket/GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
