We’re looking for a Computer Architecture Intern to join our AI Core Architecture Team based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands

As a Computer Architecture Intern, you will collaborate with a team of experts in the field of Edge AI to enhance the capabilities of our Event-Based NPU. Your role will involve designing, simulating, benchmarking, and optimising the processor architecture to ensure maximum efficiency and performance. You will be at the heart of our innovation, contributing to projects that push the boundaries of what is possible in Edge AI. 

What you’ll do:

• Implement, map, and simulate selected algorithms for Neural Rendering on our NPU.

• Perform performance benchmarking and analysis, documenting and presenting findings to the team;

• Identify HW and Compiler/Training improvements that will make our NPU better at performing Neural Rendering.

• Provide proofs of concept for the proposed optimizations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong foundation in computer architecture, and digital design concepts.

• Familiarity with deep learning, AI algorithms and neural networks.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.

• Experience of deep learning frameworks (Pytorch and/or Tensorflow) is a plus.

• Experience with Computer Graphics is a plus.

• Experience with event-based processors and sensors is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate ideas effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
