Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AVP to join our newly formed data practice. This role will play a key part in building foundational data capabilities that support enterprise-wide transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, governance, and analytics within hybrid environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of data strategies that improve data quality, accessibility, and usability across the organization
  • Create and maintain clear, well-structured technical and business documentation
  • Design and implement training programs and federated governance frameworks to enable cross-functional data ownership and stewardship
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets using industry best practices to uncover actionable insights
  • Identify trends and patterns in large and complex data sets to support decision-making
  • Lead data profiling efforts and manage critical data elements (CDEs), ensuring consistent data quality and standards
  • Contribute to data architecture efforts in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud)
  • Develop intuitive, high-quality business intelligence dashboards with a strong focus on usability, benchmarking, and segmentation

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry
    • Strong technical proficiency in:
      • Python (including relevant libraries)
      • SQL
      • Power BI
      • Microsoft Excel (advanced functions and modeling)
      • Core database concepts
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and related presentation tools is a plus

     

    Compensation

    The expected annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
