We offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of data science and AI. Our department analyses data from vehicle studies to understand safety features, driver behavior, and critical situations, with the aim of further improving vehicle safety and evaluating the effectiveness of our safety systems. The findings from these analyses are decisive for the continuous development and optimization of safety systems.

What awaits you? 

• You help us build a robust database to carry out comprehensive data analyses.
• You help us develop a computer vision algorithm to identify critical situations.
• You will be involved in various tasks in the area of data engineering as part of our team.
• You help us plan and implement an end-to-end ETL pipeline.
• You work with cloud architecture teams to optimize system efficiency.
• You help us automate analysis scripts to streamline processes and improve overall effectiveness.

What should you bring along?

• You are currently enrolled in a master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field for at least the second semester.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Python; additional programming skills are an advantage.
• You already have some experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• You are familiar with the concepts of computer vision, machine learning, and neural networks.
• You have a basic understanding of database design principles.
• You are fluent in spoken and written English; German language skills are an advantage.
• You excel in teamwork and communication skills.
• You have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• You show initiative and self-motivation at work.
