ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Sr. AI Solutions Arhictect at Accela you will design and implement AI/ML solutions to enhance the Accela Civic Platform and Digital Plan Room ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with product requirements. You will work across various teams and the customer advocate council to understand requirements, translate them into architectural solutions, and oversee the implementation and maintenance of AI systems. You will work with product engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into product workflows. AI Architects also stay informed about emerging AI/ML trends and recommend technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop end-to-end AI/ML architecture, ensuring accuracy, scalability, performance, and cost are in alignment with organizational goals and products.
  • Work with stakeholders, including business users, data scientists, and IT operations, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Develop AI solutions, frameworks, and roadmaps for AI adoption across different product workflows.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on design decisions, frameworks, and technology choices.
  • Choose appropriate open-source and commercial tools, deployment types, and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
  • Establish best practices for AI/ML lifecycle management, including model training, deployment pipelines (CI/CD), and diagnostic monitoring.
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot AI systems to ensure high performance.
  • Provide technical leadership, share knowledge, and promote best practices in AI/ML within the organization.
  • Ensure AI implementations adhere to ethical standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Proven experience in software and AI architect roles
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies such as LLMs, RAG, Computer Vision Models, Machine Learning Algorithms and related technologies.
  • Proficient with the Phython Programming Language and AI tools and frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Javascript
  • Good understanding of microservices architetures and REST API design.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
  • Good understanding of Containers, Kubernetes and related technologies.

COMPENSATION AND WELL-BEING

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $220,000. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an annual base salary, this role is eligible to earn commissions.
