Responsibilities

• Design and build simulation engines for trading teams
• Improve trading simulation accuracy compared with production results
• Optimize compilation and run time efficiency for trading simulation
• Creating tools to analyze data for patterns
• Build trading simulation with both historical and live market data
• Design various simulation frameworks required by complex trading strategy setup
• Support trading teams’ simulation research on a daily basis

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or a related field
• 0-8 years of experience in software development (within the financial industry is a plus)
• A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++
• Knowledge of other development languages, including Python, Bash or Shell scripts
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Strong analytical, quantitative, mathematical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills 
• The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
