Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Data Governance Analyst. The ideal candidate embodies technical prowess in RISK Systems by defining and embedding data governance policies, procedures, and standards, coupled with a fervent commitment to making every piece of data matter. We value individuals who are detail-oriented, independent contributors with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that together, we continue to transform possibilities into reality.

This position is Hybrid/on-site in Lisbon and it is for a 7-month project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and promote data governance best practices across the RISK Systems landscape
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data definitions, standards, metrics, and methodologies
  • Collaborate on the development and enhancement of data governance tools
  • Contribute to the review and enhancement of existing critical data assets
  • Monitor data governance performance and report on adherence to defined standards
  • Support the management of data quality committees and related governance forums
  • Assist in developing strategies for managing the full lifecycle of data
  • Ensure teams understand and follow established data governance principles


Requirements for the role 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, IT, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in a data-related or risk management role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, and high-quality documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills; capable of working across global teams
  • Self-starter with a delivery-focused mindset and strong organisational skills
  • Practical experience with data validation, loading, and quality assurance processes
  • Familiarity with market and counterparty risk concepts is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
