GENERAL SUMMARY
Supervise the team tasked with designing and implementing a “single source of truth” data-centric platform that integrates diverse data sources from all phases of a new nuclear build, including design, licensing, procurement, construction, commissioning, and plant operations. Lead the effort to incorporate innovative, data-driven solutions that streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and provide real-time data analytics into the processes for requirements management and traceability, records creation and control, change management, regulatory programs compliance demonstration, work control, maintenance planning and scheduling, and equipment reliability monitoring. Communicate the objectives and strategies for the data platform to internal stakeholders and key external partners and collaborate to define roles, responsibilities, and authorities.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Developing and Evaluating – Create and document a comprehensive data strategy for the implementation of a single source of truth data-centric platform. Design and deliver a Data Governance Framework that establishes effective data architecture and integration principles, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Identify the best solutions for the creation of digital twins for regulatory programs and the digital threads to requirements and plant equipment. Evaluate in-use enterprise asset management software and databases to identify opportunities for inclusion and elimination of redundancy.
Supervising – Define needed roles and build and lead a team to implement the new platform. Ensures that business systems and processes supported are designed, tested, and maintained to achieve high reliability. Assures proper progress and focus through frequent interface with direct reports. Interviews and recommends for hire direct and contract employees. Supports organizational personnel performance expectations, ratings, provide input and recommendations for promotions, salary changes, transfer, and terminations.
Leading – Motivate the team by communicating a common vision. Leadership is shown through the application of established leadership techniques including developing solutions using operating experience and fact-based options that support recommendations. Act as a lead in promoting the data strategy and framework with internal, corporate, and external stakeholders. Oversee the procurement process for designated programs and services including budget, requisition, contract negotiation, and costing.
Planning – Participate in developing the department strategic objectives and support implementation of the plan. Coordinate with staff, peers, and customers to obtain required support. Integrate with the long-range planning process to identify, and recommend system updates, maintenance and upgrades associated with the tool’s lifecycle. May be responsible for the development of feasibility studies, project estimates, and coordination / facilitation of the Information Technology Project Review Committee (ITPRC).
Reviewing – Review products submitted for implementation, as well as other department products, such as evaluations, department procedures and reports, to ensure technical adequacy and consistency. Ensure oversight and compliance for 10 CFR 50 Appendix B activities associated with administration of computing and communication systems, as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, engineering, or related science from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of work experience in a data architecture, data management, or a related role, or
Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, engineering, or related science from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of work experience in a data architecture, data management, or a related role, or
High school diploma or GED and ten (10) years of work experience in a data architecture, data management, or a related role.

Pay Range
$136,961.00 - $205,441.00 AnnualMidpoint:
$171,201.00Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
