Sr. Associate, Customer Strategy, FTSE Russell

The Customer Strategy & Execution (CSE) team at FTSE Russell plays a role in supporting sales execution by aligning customer insights, data-driven strategies, and market opportunities.

We are looking for a data-driven yet commercially minded professional to join our team in Gdynia and support our regional directors across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. This is not just a data role—while analytics and insights will be a key part of the job, you will also help develop and deliver training programs to upskill our sales teams in solutions-based selling.

This is an opportunity for a highly analytical professional with a strong background in data analytics, engineering, or finance who is eager to develop expertise in the financial services industry—particularly in index investing, which is at the core of asset management and financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing data-driven insights that improve sales strategy, customer engagement, and market intelligence.

• Analyze and handle large datasets to uncover trends in client behavior, product adoption, and revenue opportunities.

• Refine data visualization tools, improve internal reporting capabilities that drive key sales metrics, client engagement, and product performance for internal partners.

• Improve data processes and reporting frameworks for better insights and sales execution.

• Work with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies.

• Build learning content and training sessions to improve sales capabilities.

• Support customer engagement initiatives, ensuring data-driven sales conversations.

What We’re Looking For

Educational Background: bachelor’s degree Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Finance or equivalent work experience in the field of data analytics in financial services.

• Technical Skills: Strong data analysis skills, with advanced Excel expertise (e.g., crafting complex formulas, working with pivot tables, and performing data manipulations).  Expertise in data manipulation and visualization tools like PowerBI, and programming languages like Python or R is considered a plus.

• 5+ years of professional experience.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix organization, support partners in different regions, and translate data insights into relevant business strategies.

• Proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Commercial Awareness: Curiosity about financial markets and how crafts sales strategies.

• Strong Communicator: Can present insights clearly and support sales training initiatives.
