Accountabilities:
As an Enterprise Data Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Lead. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with the Data Retention and Disposal Global Standard, collaborating with stakeholders to address non-compliance issues, and identifying risks associated with data governance. You will assist in delivering ILM business services, create and implement ILM principles, advise staff on good information practices, and support the Retention and Disposal Manager in understanding legal requirements. Additionally, you will seek opportunities to automate processes, develop monitoring systems, and communicate ILM messages across the business.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experience and strong understanding of Data Governance specifically, Retention and Disposal
- Relevant Degree or experience (information management or data management) or extensive experience working within a data management setting
- Excellent level of knowledge and experience in information lifecycle management practices e.g., creation, filing, workflows, document management, retention, archiving
- Familiarity or experience with Enterprise Data Governance
- An understanding of the purpose of data rules, standards, policies, procedures and guidelines within a quality, compliance and regulated and legal environment
- A real passion for data/information and its importance in driving business performance
- Ability to communicate to both a technical and business audience
- A proven track record of delivering business value and awareness of the impact on service levels
- Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
- Experience delivering education and training
- Ability to work under stress and manage conflicting priorities
