Reed College seeks a curious, systems-oriented thinker to be our Dean of the Faculty Data and Systems Analyst. The Data and Systems Analyst will work as an integral member of our team in the Dean’s office, helping to ensure data integrity and ease of use of all systems for staff and faculty. This role reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Operations. This is not a remote position.

Starting salary for this position is $70k-$77k. Pay offers are contingent upon experience and are determined through an internal pay assessment. This is an exempt (overtime eligible) position on grade 7.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide expert data management, analysis, and reporting for the Office of the Dean of Faculty.

  • Spearhead efforts to innovate and elevate office data systems and procedures. 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Dean’s office, Institutional Research, HR, and the IT department in maintaining, developing, and implementing data practices. 

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Dean’s office and other offices on campus to assess and improve the office’s systems.

  • Develop ad hoc and standard reports for both inside and outside the Dean’s office.

  • Manage input and output of the administrative database and ensure data integrity. Provide ongoing database support and training for the Dean’s office. 

  • Create and direct test plans in collaboration with users, IT, and vendor partners.

  • Provides campus wide troubleshooting and training related to the Dean’s office systems.

Qualifications

2 years experience in data and systems analysis work
