Business & Team:

The Enterprise Risk Management team enables transparent, disciplined and effective risk management across the Group. We do this by –

• Embedding a sound Risk Management Framework, underpinned by a strong Risk Culture.
• Ensuring Risk Management as a function operates effectively and efficiently, with a well-controlled operating environment.
• Partnering with the business to deliver simpler, better strategic risk investment outcomes.
• Providing better risk data and understanding to improve decision-making and drive better risk outcomes.
• Enabling risk professionals to perform at their best. Holding people to account for managing risks and complying with obligations.

Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future to our 10 million+ personal and small business customers. We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.

The Chief Data Analytics office (CDAO) team are responsible for driving an uplift in the Consumer Data and Analytics capability across the Retail Bank.

The team comprises of several functions and capabilities including NBC Design and Performance, Consumer Data Office, Delivery, Advanced Analytics and Modelling, Data Science, Planning and Operations, and Risk and Regulatory Programs to support the goals of Group Marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the NFR Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the chapter members in India for day-to-day guidance and on-site needs
• Working collaboratively with the Product teams, Delivery teams, Analytics team to develop and deliver Analytics and Insights solutions
• You will challenge assumptions and proposed solutions to drive the quality of the final solution
• You will deliver to deadlines by managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Using your business acumen, you will translate complex business requirements and objectives into technical briefings
• You will synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and facts from various sources to identify relationships and patterns, drawing logical conclusions about customer needs and how best to meet them.

Essential Skills :

• 10+ Years of experience in Data Analytics and Visualizations with ideally 3 years’ experience working in non-financial risk analytics
• Proven experience in mentoring junior staff.
• Strong Analytical and Visualization Skills – Expert in Tableau, SQL, Python, Strong Visualization and Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
• Good with Agile ways of working, JIRA, GitHub, SharePoint
• Stakeholder Management – Good relationship building skills, advanced communication and engagement skills with a collaborative style. The ability to articulate complex technical or analytical requirements or findings in common non-technical terms.
• Storytelling – Good Communication and storytelling skill and experience to present to senior stakeholders and business.
• Strategic Thinking – Commercial acumen, comfortable in fast moving environment and an aptitude to question and challenge stakeholders & fellow team members to get to the best outcomes
• Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.

Education Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
