Roles and Responsibilities
- Collecting and managing data, including exploratory data analysis, using MS Excel
- Identifying trends and patterns in complex datasets
- Designing databases and data systems
- Quality assurance and data cleansing
- Ability to write basic scripts using Python or VB
- Learning the domain (e.g., Product - Bill of materials, hierarchies, where-used and Supply chain - cost, savings, plan v forecast, etc.) to better understand the business and to help make recommendations
- Developing automated processes for data scraping / extraction from source systems (ERP, Smart Sheets, Spend Cube, etc.)
- Producing dashboards, including graphs, tables, and other visualizations using PowerBI
- Creating presentation decks using PowerPoint
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
- Develop and maintain partnerships with the cross functional teams β Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Suppliers
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Data Analytics
- >4 years of experience in Data Analysis and Project Management
- Excellent database management skills, especially using MS Excel
- Fluent in Python, VB (and SQL)
- Knowledge of data collection/cleaning tools
- Visualization expertise using PowerBI
- Strong communication skills, for liaising with project leaders and teams
- Working well as part of a team and taking direction well
- Background in Engineering and / or Supply Chain (preferred)
- Professional certifications in Data Analytics and Project Management (preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
