The Opportunity

This position works out of Livermore, CA location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business.  Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World’s greatest healthcare challenges.

As a Business Analyst you will have the opportunity to build and maintain dashboards that support Acelis’ internal operations and use advanced analytical tools to drive business insights. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, understanding, and presenting solutions for complex business problems. This role will also assist in the development of operational systems by technical teams. The candidate will be expected to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical business partners.

What You’ll Work On

  • Create and update interactive dashboards that provide real-time insights into business metrics
  • Provide analytical support for cross-functional and continuous improvement projects across the organization
  • Assist stakeholders and project teams monitor performance and trends in order to make informed decisions
  • Use statistical methods and data mining techniques to uncover pattern and drive strategic planning
  • Develop models to forecast trends, customer behavior, and potential risks
  • Create visualizations and reports to communicate insights and support data-driven decisions
  • Take part in the Scrum Agile cycle, helping to groom technical development stories to deliver operational improvements based on analytical insights
  • Assists in organizing and executing User Acceptance Testing for technical solutions
  • Participates in Community of Practice to share resources and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a team environment and manage relationships with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in data analysis, business intelligence, or Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R for Machine Learning (ML), AI, and advanced data analysis
  • Experience working in Healthcare, analyzing operational and claims data
  • Experience analyzing and working with Salesforce

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work sitting down for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work with computer and multiple computer screens for extended periods of time.
  • No lifting over 10 pounds required without assistance.

The base pay for this position is

$86,700.00 – $173,300.00
