JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solution India is seeking a Software Engineer will be responsible for developing Python application software & Tools based on complex business needs in QHP (Quality Health Plan) process.
• Also serve as the liaison between the Offshore Business Analyst Team and Onshore partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Data Gathering, Pre-Processing and Formulate the required attributes. Data Processing and EDA, building the Suitable Machine Learning Model. Perform the full range of advanced analytics and visualization methodologies, techniques and outputs associated with the area of expertise.
• Proficient in utilizing Python, Flask Framework, and PostgreSQL to develop robust back-end solutions, with a strong foundation in database management and API integration, knowledge and hands on experience on Flask, Django, NumPy and Panda libraries in Python
• Develop and maintain Flask-based web applications., Design and implement web applications which utilize the Flask framework.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions within stringent deadlines.
• Adaptable and Flexible to shifts (Required to work in US Hours from 8AM to 5PM EST (5:30PM to 2:30AM IST) Coast to coast coverage in peak

QUALIFICATION

• Requires relevant Technology degree

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of professional expertise as a Python Developer, with a focus on back-end development in the IT sector
• Experience in creating critical reports using PANDAS and NUMPY.
• Experienced in full stack development of web applications, handling responsibilities involving all phases of software development lifecycle.
• Experience in building APIs using AWS services, specifically using Python, Lambda and API gateway.
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
• Experience working with product benefits is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in writing and reviewing requirements, test plans, design and maintaining documents, quality analysis and helping with the software release process.
• Hands on experience in various Frontend (AngularJS, BackboneJS) and backend (Python, PHP) technologies.
• Having good experience in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Develop & maintain Flask-based web applications.
• Design & implement web applications which utilize the Flask framework.
• Refactor old Python and Flask code to ensure it follows modern principles and ways of
• implementation.
• Works on Aws services i.e., EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, ECS etc.
• Handled End to End monitoring to ensure the availability of applications which running AWS hostedservers and Monitor access logs and Error logs in AWS Cloud watch.
• Configuring Versioning and Server access logging on S3 Buckets
• Proficiency at writing the code in Python and the Flask framework.
• Collaborating with Spark using APIs written in Python.
• Reading data from multiple sources and different formats using PySpark.
• Creating, maintaining, and evolving an AWS cloud architecture to execute applications.
• Good at scripting as well as writing algorithms using core Python.
• Health care or managed care experience is required.
• Must be proficient with MS Excel.
