Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Manager Advanced Analytics Data Strategy and Transformation to join a team of analysts and data scientists. This role is pivotal in turning complex data into actionable insights, supporting business decisions across content strategy, marketing, audience engagement, and revenue optimization. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with strategic thinking and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Analytics Strategy: Develop and implement analytics frameworks to optimize content performance, audience engagement, marketing campaigns, and revenue streams.
  • Business Impact Focus: Partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and embed data-driven insights into strategic initiatives.
  • Model Development: Oversee the creation of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and other advanced analytical techniques to drive forecasting, segmentation, and recommendation systems.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging trends in media, analytics, and technology to continuously enhance analytical capabilities and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics roles, preferably within the media, entertainment, or digital sectors.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Python, R, and visualization platforms like Looker Studio or Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for data-driven storytelling.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
