Job Description
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team comprised of scientists and engineers to support global drug product development activities through material characterization and process modelling.
The position entails the following duties and responsibilities:
- Develop mathematical models from internal data repository or published literature applying mechanistic or machine learning applications.
- Build internal repository of process data from published literature using suitable data-retrieval techniques.
- Develop suitable digital tools for automated data analysis of internal data repository.
- Conduct discrete element modeling of simple physical processes for drug product design and development.
Qualifications
B.S with 0-3 years of relevant experience or M.S in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related scientific fields.
Required skills:
• Fluency in coding using Python or Matlab is required.
• Prior knowledge of handling large dataset and developing mathematical models is preferred.
• Experience in ODE (ordinary differential equation) and PDE (partial differential equation) based applications is a plus.

Position is Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Ridgefield, CT are encouraged to apply.
