You’ll partner cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Culinary, Product Design, and Operations to uncover insights that shape the customer experience, optimize menu performance, and support strategic initiatives like our SG Rewards loyalty program. This role brings a customer-first lens to complex business challenges, translating data into clear, objective insights that drive action.

The Consumer Insights Data Analyst will report into the Consumer Insights Lead within the Marketing team. You’ll be joining a team that leads executive-level presentations and supports high-stakes projects throughout the organization. Join us for the opportunity to make your mark on the future of food!

Key Responsibilities

Menu & Product Performance Analytics

  • Analyze category and item-level menu performance to identify emerging trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Build and maintain monthly performance reports in collaboration with the Consumer Insights + Analytics Lead to guide decision-making across functions.
  • Support test-and-learn initiatives by analyzing new product tests and post-launch performance metrics using SQL and Tableau.

Loyalty Program Analytics (SG Rewards)

  • Partner closely with the Loyalty team to define and track KPIs related to SG Rewards program engagement, retention, and growth.
  • Serve as the go-to analytics partner for ad hoc loyalty-related data requests and strategic support.

Customer Sentiment & Voice of the Customer

  • Support key voice of customer metrics (brand health tracking, NPS, CX ratings), integrating these with first-party data and other insights to present a comprehensive view of customer sentiment.
  • Identify shifts in customer behavior and perceptions and develop actionable takeaways for Marketing and broader teams.
  • Contribute to executive-level presentations and high-impact strategic conversations with robust data storytelling.

  • Support the Consumer Insights Lead on broader strategic initiatives and organization-wide requests.

  • Embrace a test-and-learn mindset and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Take on additional analytical or strategic projects as needed, flexing to support evolving business priorities and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in SQL and Tableau (or equivalent data visualization tools); familiarity with data pipelines is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics).
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing analytics, customer insights, or a similar role in a consumer-facing environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear narratives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across teams and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience with loyalty program analytics or consumer panel data preferred.
