About Ethos: 
 

Ethos is ACA’s ESG Data and Analytics service. Ethos provides Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data and analytics products to wealth managers, asset managers, and other financial professionals across public and private markets.  



The Opportunity:  
 

We are looking for an ESG Data Analyst to help bring great Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data and analytics products to the market. 

You will be an integral part of a team of sustainability professionals that provide data, analytics, and advisory services. You will be responsible for working on ESG data processes, data quality, and data modeling. You will also assist with sustainability reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting for clients. 


What you will do: 
 

You will be a part of a team of ESG professionals responsible for maintaining a growing database of sustainability-related data on 12,000 companies and 7,000 funds. The team integrates information from company disclosures, government agencies, and third parties to provide sustainability data and analysis to ACA clients.  


Your responsibilities will include:  
 

  • Monitor data scraped from the web daily, such as negative news articles. 

  • Help manage data quality across a large database of company data, metrics, ratings, and other data types. 

  • Help ensure integrity and recency of data. 

  • Research potential data sources (e.g., government data). 

  • Help expand our coverage of companies, funds and other securities (e.g., add new holdings data from SEC filings). 

  • Help run client analyses and reports.  

  • Help develop analytical models to make our data useful for customers – e.g., designing climate risk models. 

  • Provide input on refining methodologies based on input from customers, partners, and available market research. 

  • Help troubleshoot data-related questions and issues from clients. 

  • Become an expert in sustainability data and analysis. 

  • Collaborate with other ESG leaders on developing data-related products (for example, provide input into product roadmaps, report to others on goals and metrics for the ESG data team). 


To qualify for the role, you must have: 

  • 1 year of experience in a role related to data analytics.
