About this role

We’re building an AI Strategy team which aims to accelerate various company functions leveraging innovation & automation. We are the brakes on the race car of growth induced manual operations. Together we aim to bring that to a stop by ensuring the company can scale its revenue without linearly scaling the rest of its supporting functions. We succeed by building innovative, effective & dependable solutions that drive growth and keep the human head count in check.

What you’ll do

• Exploration > Rapidly learn about relevant new technologies to assess maturity.

• Tinkering > Create POCs testing feasibility of ideas’ key assumptions &  validatingnew AI technologies.

• Experimentation > Build prototypes in 1-2 day cycles to verify alignment with requirements & get early feedback on whether this will work.

• Build Minimally > Build & Iterate on MVPs in 1-2 week cycles achieving user adoption within 1-3 cycles.

• Adopt & Maintain a SOTA development workflow.

• Document lessons learned to inform engineering teams of stable/robust workflow improvements and flag false hype.

Qualifications

• Bachelors (in CS or Equivalent) + 3-5YOE (Fullstack Software engineer, Data scientist, Machine learning engineer.. etc)

• Proactive about proposing ideas, identifying risks & unblocking self.

• Passionate about limit testing AI IDE's’ (Cursor, Windsurf… etc) full feature set and potential.

• Moderate comfort building ETL pipelines and data wrangling using pandas.

• System Design - Ability to moderately reason about required system components, design DB schemas & tailor the design complexity to non-functional requirements/constraints/priorities/timeline.

• Prompt Engineering - Mature Intuition to working with LLM APIs, their tools & limitations for both.

• LLM Tools & Systems - Experience building RAG systems, Working with vector stores.

Nice to Have

• React.js / Django Experience.

• Problem Solving - Ability to employ data structures and algorithms when forming AI/LLM solutions.

• Product - Ability to reason about requirements with a bias for Essentialism.

• Parallel Programming - Threading, Multi-processing

• Experience building Multi-Agent systems with CrewAI or similar is a plus.
