As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team focused on KPIs like acquisition, retention, and monetization — building trusted datasets, deep analyses, and dashboards that power product decisions and AI features across Luzia.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling & Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain reliable datasets in Redshift and BigQuery to support acquisition, retention, and monetization KPIs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within squads of engineers, designers, and marketers to translate business questions into data solutions and insights.

  • Dashboard Development: Build dashboards and reports in Amplitude, Looker Studio, or similar tools to track product and marketing performance.

  • AI Data Support: Enable AI-powered features by delivering clean behavioral data, supporting experimentation, and surfacing insights for internal tools.

  • User Segmentation: Create cohorting logic and unified user views across Appsflyer, Braze, Amplitude, and backend systems to improve targeting and personalization.

  • Data Quality & Governance: Contribute to documentation, identity deduplication, and internal data cataloging to ensure data consistency and discoverability.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years in analytics engineering, data analytics, or a related role in a data-driven product environment.

  • SQL & Warehousing: Strong SQL skills with experience in Redshift, BigQuery, PostgreSQL.

  • Python experience: Comfortable working with Python-based ETL frameworks and scripting data workflows.

  • Analytics Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Amplitude, Looker Studio or similar for dashboarding and insights.

  • Marketing & Product Data: Understanding of attribution, funnels, A/B testing, and lifecycle analytics across tools like Appsflyer, Braze, GA4, and Ads APIs.

  • Startup DNA: Thrives in fast-paced environments with cross-functional squads and ownership-driven culture.

  • Communication: Fluent in English, capable of translating data into stories and recommendations for non-technical audiences.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have: 

  • Experience working on AI-related product features (e.g. personalization, content moderation, assistant feedback loops).

  • Exposure to tools like Braze, Appsflyer, GA4, Ads APIs (Meta, TikTok, Google).

  • Familiarity with dbt and modern data stack tools.

  • Interest in building internal tools to democratize access to data and insights.
