Job Description
The Group Hotel Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and optimisation of data driven insights and analytics across the organisation. This role will collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities through analysis, enhance operational efficiencies and support strategic initiatives.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Partner with key business unit stakeholders to provide data driven insights and recommendations to enhance revenue and identify efficiencies
- Develop standards and data collection processes to support robust analytics and reporting pipelines
- Assist in building an enterprise analytics function with sound statistical methodology and analytical capability
- Deliver long term business forecasts for analytical, reporting and business planning requirements.
- Develop reporting to ensure effective strategies are developed, implemented, analysed and revised.
- Use of analytical techniques for the identification and measurement of the magnitude and type of underlying opportunity, which will inform strategy
- Lead the delivery of hotel reporting and insights suitable for consumption by the wider marketing team and key business units
- Deliver long term business and customer forecasts for analytical, reporting and business planning requirements
- Support the Executive Team in the achievement of the annual EBITDA budget for Hotel operations
- Conduct ongoing analysis on hotel performance including supply and demand, pricing and product mix, customer segments, new asset performance and channel management while recommending changes that contribute to sustained increased revenues and profitability
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL, R, Python, Cognos, etc…
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders to produce data driven insights
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an integrated resort and analytics
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is required (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Finance, Commerce, etc)
