Position Title: Senior Software EngineerLocation: Remote - ColombiaWhat you will be doing:As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex features for cloud-based applications. You will focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while adhering to best practices in coding and architecture. Working within a collaborative product engineering team, you will contribute your expertise across the full-stack environment and help drive engineering excellence, you will have to: 

• Design and Implementation: You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex features and functionality for our applications, ensuring they align with best practices and architectural patterns.
• Code Quality and Maintainability: You will write clean, high-quality, and maintainable code that adheres to established guidelines, contributing to the long-term health of the codebase.
• Technical Leadership: You will actively participate in technical discussions, helping the team identify optimal solutions to technical challenges and ensuring the team maintains engineering excellence.
• Cloud-Based Solutions: You will build and maintain scalable cloud-based applications, utilizing a variety of AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and EventBridge.
• Automated Testing and Deployment: You will implement automated testing strategies and deployment pipelines to ensure the efficiency and quality of the development cycle.
• Issue Resolution: You will help troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of the product.

Requirements & QualificationsTo excel in this role, you should possess:

• 5+ years of advanced experience with AWS Services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, with expertise in executing Lambda functions using Node.js 22.x.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and cloud infrastructure management with CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and Mac OS as a development environment.
• Experience or knowledge of Gen AI and its integration within development processes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Expertise in unit and integration testing using modern testing frameworks.
• Experience with building RESTful APIs and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and BitBucket, and experience managing CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to AWS Bedrock and LangChain for advanced AI solutions.
• Experience with Full Stack development, particularly Vue.js.
  
• Proficiency in using BitBucket Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Knowledge of Azure Entra ID for identity management.
