Trainee Data Engineer (BTech freshers only)

Location: India-Hybrid Bangalore (primary) 

Monday to Friday 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Data Engineer to join our data team. This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates or individuals transitioning into data engineering. You will work closely with experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and contribute to our growing data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines using tools such as Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Work with structured and unstructured data sources to ingest, transform, and load data into data lakes or warehouses.
• Support data quality checks, logging, and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Document code, workflows, and processes for future reference and learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field 
• Basic understanding of SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with data concepts like ETL, data warehousing, and big data technologies is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
