You’ll collaborate with other engineering teams, analytics, and product teams to drive data-forward solutions across a massive-scale digital audio ecosystem.

- Build, maintain, and optimize data models and dimensional warehouses to support analytics and BI tooling as well as other operational workflows.
- Develop robust ETL/ELT processes for ingesting, transforming, and validating terabytes of structured and unstructured data.
- Support and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our data infrastructure.
- Implement data governance, privacy-first practices, and validation mechanisms to ensure accuracy and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and product teams to deliver data products and actionable insights.
- Document pipelines, systems, and workflows; contribute to our internal data catalog.
- Mentor peers and contribute to the team’s evolving data engineering standards and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance in our stack.
Qualifications
More About You:
Required & Preferred:
- 7+ years of professional data engineering and programming skills (e.g., Python, and SQL).
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake or BigQuery), and AWS cloud-based experience on AWS or GCP (e.g. AWS Glue, Cloud Data Fusion, S3/GCS, EC2, and IAM).
- Hands-on expertise in Airflow, SQL, data modeling (star/snowflake schema), test case development and building scalable ETL/ELT systems.
- Solid understanding of columnar vs. row-based storage solutions and when to use each (e.g., Snowflake vs. Postgres).
- Proven ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams, prioritizing effectively. Experience working in a scrum or kanban team environment, able to reliably scope and estimate your work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a team player who enjoys learning and teaching. Willingness to dig into “why” to help build the right solutions and data products for our business to scale our data capabilities.
