What is Expert Continuous Improvement & Governance?

The Expert Continuous Improvement & Governance plays a vital role in driving sustainable operational excellence, enhancing financial process controls, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the finance function. This role focuses on strengthening governance, optimizing end-to-end finance processes through Lean methodologies, and selectively leveraging digital enablers to deliver measurable outcomes. The incumbent will work closely with finance leadership, process owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure process standardization, compliance, and continuous value delivery.

What does Expert Continuous Improvement & Governance do?

• Lead end-to-end finance process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other structured methodologies.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, ensuring process adherence, documentation, and effective control mechanisms.
• Identify and prioritize process inefficiencies and pain points, proposing pragmatic and sustainable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize and harmonize finance processes across business units.
• Drive performance monitoring through the development of KPIs, SLA dashboards, and continuous reporting loops.
• Where applicable, support the adoption of fit-for-purpose digital tools (e.g., workflow automation, BI dashboards) to enhance process visibility and control.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement within finance, providing training, coaching, and sharing best practices.
• Work closely with ERP and IT teams to align on process design and system enablement.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and identify improvement opportunities aligned with business priorities.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Continuous Improvement & Governance?

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt), RPA (UiPath/Blue Prism), AI/ML, or Data Analytics are a strong plus.
• 3+ years of experience in finance process improvement, automation, data analytics, or AI-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred), SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, and automation tools (RPA, AI platforms).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, predictive analytics, and AI applications in finance.
• Experience with generative AI (GenAI) tools for finance processes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
