Based in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, NTCE (Nissan Technical Centre, Europe) is our UK Research and Development hub. We are home to the functions that help us lead the way in vehicle design and development of the vehicles manufactured in our European plants. Purpose
We are seeking a Warranty Data Engineer to be based at Nissan Technical Centre Europe Cranfield or NMUK Sunderland where you will be joining a vibrant team, working together to develop & standardise warranty data flows and reporting to deliver efficiencies in all areas of the warranty and goodwill domain.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Establish and review the warranty data flows currently in place with a view to supplementing and enriching the data with additional data sources such as data from dealer tools, data from manufacturing quality and data from the connected vehicle environment.
Develop standardised reporting inside the recall & warranty business intelligence tool.
Lead a programme to develop warranty & goodwill reporting, deploy to relevant teams across AMIEO region and management of requested standardised enhancements.
Benchmark within and outside of AMIEO region to establish best practice of warranty reporting & data flows.
Liaise with entity TCS, RBUs, NSCs and iNSC across AMIEO to ensure consistent usage of warranty reporting and standardised enhancements.
Engage with functional teams such as CQ/DND and TCS Dealer Audit teams to establish processes on assessing & auditing dealers warranty & goodwill claiming behaviour, warranty conditions and policy application.
Provide management reports / presentation preparation as require.
Support cross-functional activities to improve the wider Customer Experience Quality
Skills & Experience
The Warranty Data Engineer should have the following skills or experience:
• Process driven individual with problem solving mind-set
• Able to work cross functionally and respond quickly to changing demands
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise effectively ensuring deadlines are met.
You are customer focused and can understand business opportunity from data and translate it into appropriate analytical methods and architecture.
Passion for data and technology
Strong analytical skills and comfortable using SQL, Tableau and Strong understanding of Microsoft tools (Ms Access, VBA and Excel)
Practical experience in Data Base Creation, Data Analytics and Data visualisation
Good to have:
○ Ability to create front-end input tools with Power Apps, Sharepoint or Website.
○ Experience with machine learning principles
○ AWS Cloud based analytics experience, with knowledge of Snowflake.

Competitive base salary
Remote Working Policy (maximum 2 days per week WFH)

Standard Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1:20pm
