The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer excels in developing Power BI reports and is proficient in SQL and DAX. This role involves creating data-driven enterprise tools that deliver organization-wide value. By embodying our core purpose of customer obsession, new ideas, and driving innovation, and delivering excellence, you will help ensure that every touchpoint is meaningful and contributes to our mission of redefining the possible in healthcare. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential, as the position requires forming key relationships with stakeholders and executives to identify root causes and true reporting needs. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will create professional, insightful, value-driven reports, dashboards, and tools used daily by leaders. Work spans the entire revenue cycle (Front, Middle, Back), necessitating a deep understanding of the Healthcare Revenue Cycle.

  • Responsible for the data mining, manipulation and delivery to key stakeholders and executives in accordance with priorities and deadlines
  • Presenting and/or publishing completed reports in accordance with publishing guidelines.
  • Develop internal and external partnerships to provide opportunity for efficient solutions to variousdata, system and application uses.
  • Ability to form key relationships with and deliver professional, customer focused service to keystakeholders and executives.
  • Collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail andaccuracy through Power BI report development.
  • Works with team members as mentor and provides opportunities of open collaboration to problemsolve or optimize reports.
  • Identifies report requirements and determine how the desired results can be achieved
  • Leads high level discussions with a focus on making recommendation and identifying how data can support key business decisions.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic reports out of multiple databases and systems.

Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 5+ years' experience developing Power BI reports (DAX and SQL language proficiency)
  • 3+ years' experience with relational databases and SQL – must have the ability to write complex, highly-
  • optimized queries for data cleansing across large volumes of data
  • 1+ years of knowledge and/or experience with ETL and Azure data warehouse concepts and processes
  • (Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus.)
  • 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience required
  • Advanced SQL concepts and validation review between data source and report output
  • Excellent communication, organizational, planning, problem solving, analytical, judgment, and research skills
  • Problem solving and completing root cause analysis on data discrepancies, non-loaded data, etc.
