What does a successful Financial Analyst do at Fiserv?

The Financial Analyst will work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, compliance, taxation, and strategic finance initiatives across India and international markets.

What will you do:

A Financial Analyst would undergo two 6-month structured assignments over a period of one year. This would involve a combination of diverse rotational assignments, on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership with the ability to advance within the Finance and Accounting organization upon completion.

A Financial Analyst under the supervision of the business finance leader will assist in following activities of financial management:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis.

• Support internal and statutory audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

• Assist in the computation, filing, and reconciliation of direct and indirect taxes for both Indian and international operations.

• Participate in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.

• Handle financial operations for international subsidiaries, including compliance with local regulations and reporting requirements.

• Contribute to initiatives for process automation and operational efficiency in finance functions.

• Assist in risk identification and mitigation strategies for financial operations.

What will you need to know:    

• Qualified Chartered Accountant

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

What would be great to have

• Working knowledge of development framework such as R, R Studio, Python, Java

• Exposure to digital technologies like Machine Learning, Gen AI etc
