Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead technology team within architecting highly scalable/reliable/secure cloud-based applications specifically on the Data platform and intelligent products.
  • Lead the effort to identify technology stack, design decision, solution architecture, deployment architecture and its documentation.
  • Document and work through with all required stakeholders, the various architectural “..ilities” associated with an architecture and be able to justify the choices made during review.
  • Participate in periodic code review with architects and software engineers.
  • Collaborate with the Architecture Review Board for architecture review and finalization.
  • Lead the review of application security posture with the assigned product security champions.
  • Work with IT Ops for infrastructure needs definition and creation of the infrastructure.

Experience

  • 12+ Years in enterprise software development specifically around Data & application Integration and using AI for building intelligent products
  • 8+ year of experience in Architecture and design of cloud-based products
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully managed a team of architects in an architectural practice; successfully delivering Software as a Service platform in that environment.
  • Experience in building data and application integration in a complex environment.
  • Experience in building enterprise data platform that be central to help enterprise to leverage the large data available including structured, unstructured and semi-structured data.
  • Experience in building data governance solution that help products to adopt security, lineage, governance and provide a strong base for the enterprise data platform.
  • Experience in building intelligent language-based interface products using langchain, Semantic Kernel, MCP etc
  • Experience in building solution architecture for large scale SAAS applications.
  • Experience to work with multiple cross functional teams starting from Product management, Engineering(multiple), Program Management teams etc.
  • Experience in product release cycle, best practices, code reviews and defect management. Efficient in handling changes and enhancements.
  • Good database concepts and hands on in design and development.
  • Experience in localization and globalization, security, performance, integration with third party components and applications.
  • Ensure best design practices and processes are followed for continuous improvement of product.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.

Technical Experience:

  • Understands and conversant with cloud patterns:
  • Scale out, scale up and load balancing.
  •  Patterns required to ensure Highly Available and Reliable applications.
  •  Failover at various tiers
  • How to leverage cloud elasticity
  • Side by side development and deployment (Blue/Green
  • Multi-Tenancy
  • Strong understanding of data integration patterns, Kafka, Flink, Data catalog product suite, Dreamio / Trino, Databricks, Web technologies, i.e., HTTP/HTTP2, REST, GRPC
  • Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform, with a strong preference for Azure but familiarity with AWS; including Security principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills, able to sustain conversations with business stakeholders, include C-Suite executives, application and infrastructure architects and individual developers.
  • Strong ability to communicate technology selection process and the tradeoffs evaluated as part of the process.
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies/Scrum, Test Driven Development (TDD) & Unit Testing.
