Senior Technical Product Manager, Machine Learning Platform

Our highly optimized system serves ultra-high traffic generating petabytes of various data points responding in milliseconds worldwide. 

At the heart of our real-time bidding system are advanced Machine Learning solutions. Our 40-strong ML Team actively develops and improves these solutions, which has direct and immediate impact on the company's core business metrics.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our engineering leadership team and take on the role of Technical Product Manager. This role is deeply embedded in our ML Team and has the potential of multiplicatively boosting its performance. If you’re excited about shaping the vision and the development of the Machine Learning infrastructure, tools, models, and workflows this role may be a great fit for you.

Requirements: 

• Technical skills:
• At least 5 years experience in technology-powered products as either a technical product manager, business analyst, software developer, data analyst or machine learning researcher
• Formal education in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical details to various stakeholders
• Big plus: experience in Technical Product area
• Big plus: hands-on experience and solid understanding of Machine Learning, techniques and concepts
• Additional plus: knowledge of ML technologies like PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, (...)
• Additional plus: knowledge of cloud-based solutions, like AWS Sagemaker and Google Vertex AI
• Soft skills:
• Ability to define clean, versatile, powerful technical abstractions
• Ability to problem-solve with many constraints, assess risks, and present well-structured, data-informed arguments.
• Strong analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Strong project management skills, with a focus on organization and a "get things done" attitude

As a Product Owner, you will: 

• Collaborate closely with our ML Research team, to understand their workflows, challenges, painpoints
• Proactively identify ways of improving the ML Teams productivity
• Shape the vision and the roadmap of our Machine Learning Platform, in order to multiply the effectiveness and impact of our ML Team.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and develop high-quality solutions
• Guide trade-off discussions informed by technical constraints, product strategy, and business needs
• Coordinate implementation to ensure smooth execution and manage task hand-offs
• Contribute to the documentation and communication of new functionalities to relevant teams within the company
