POSITION SUMMARY:

We're looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer for a temporary 6-month contract position with potential for extension, who’s passionate about leveraging data to drive smarter decisions and measurable impact. In this fully remote role, you’ll collaborate across global teams, build scalable dashboards, and dive deep into complex datasets

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR REMOTE POSITIONS:

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Be responsible for taking data analysis and insights capability to the next level; working with data infrastructure to ensure the data is accessible, auditing existing visualization dashboards, and working with stakeholders to recommend and create new reporting/insights
• Converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information
• Shaping and delivering key metrics, reports, and indicators by which our business will assess its performance
• Diving deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data manipulation languages
• Working directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities Tools used include: 1. SQL (Oracle and Redshift) 2. ETL tools (internal) 3. Excel 4. Tableau 5. Python
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)

• Occasional infrequent in person activity may be required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
• Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
• Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports
• Experience with all phases of software lifecycle development, including design component diagrams, implementation, deployment and maintenance, CI/CD and Coding Version Control Experience(i.e Git)
• Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R
