Overview

This person will have a strong focus on generative AI and will help build the AI “plumbing” that powers advanced AI capabilities for the Government customer. This role will architect and develop robust, scalable solutions for deploying and managing generative AI models, leveraging both AWS and Azure cloud platforms as well as on-premises infrastructure. This person will be hands-on in designing the foundational systems and pipelines that enable seamless integration of AI tools into Government use cases, ensuring reliability, security, and performance at scale. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing cloud-native and hybrid AI systems, with a deep understanding of both the technical and operational requirements involved in enterprise-scale AI adoption for Government customers. Experience with generative models (such as LLMs, diffusion models, or similar), as well as the ability to build custom tools and frameworks, is ideal.

 

Technical Background Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar
  • Experience programming in Python
  • Experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Models (LLM)
  • Experience programmatically interacting with cloud (e.g.: Amazon Web Service (AWS), Microsoft Azure) services and products
  • Experience with GenAI tools like, spaCy, NLTK, Gensim, ChatGPT, huggingface, or BERT
  • In depth understanding of AI protocols and standards
  • Experience with unsupervised learning models, foundational modeling, and/or prompt engineering
  • Experience with design and implementation strategy around AI API gateways and an understanding of the services required to support enterprise development, including user access and data management  
  • Ability to display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues

 

Additional Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly
  • Local to the DC/MD area
  • Available to travel onsite 2-3 days per week minimum to Fort Meade, MD
