What you’ll do:

 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - HANA Cloud Knowledge Graph Engine Software Developer

 

Location: Hybrid - Boston

 

Expected start date: June 2025

 

Duration: 6- 12 months

 

Working hours: Full-time (40 hrs./week)

 

 

 

  • Contribute to hands-on development and testing of Knowledge Graph Engine, will be working with the development team in developing SPARQL queries, and Python tests
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, and Documentation colleagues in remote locations
  • Help deliver a robust Knowledge Graph Engine product with documented examples of Queries and Functionality for end-user consumption
  • Develop, debug, and troubleshoot data models and query patterns
  • Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal development

 

 

 

What you bring:

 

 

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful, innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, or MSCS Student, or a recent graduate of the MSCS program
  • Good knowledge of SQL, Query Optimization, Data Analytics, and Testing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Solution-oriented and open-minded
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program

The development team is responsible for delivering the HANA Cloud Knowledge Graph Engine. The team is globally distributed (India, Canada, Germany, several locations in the US), and consists of highly experienced developers and architects.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
