Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HEOR/ HTA Manager to join our Scandinavian team in AbbVie. This is a great opportunity to join a highly specialized team in an engaging and strategically important role. The position entails conducting HEOR and HTA analyses across prioritized therapeutic areas, leading reimbursement applications, and adapting global strategies as well as driving the local market access agenda. For reimbursement applications you will be the one writing and submitting the applications and have direct dialogue with the HTA agencies. You will also be a strategic partner and collaborate closely with other functions.

The location could also be in Oslo, Norway or Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and submit reimbursement dossiers including modeling work, dialogue with HTA agencies and negotiations with payers.
  • Lead the development and execution of reimbursement strategies across Scandinavia.
  • Lead and conduct real-world data (RWD) studies to inform HTA and market access strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Teams, Regional Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Governmental Affairs.
  • Develop health economic tools and models, such as budget impact models, to support value propositions.
  • Contribute to developing the vision of the access/life science landscape and initiate activities to achieve it.
  • Provide input to Global functions on affiliate needs when developing global HEOR deliverables.
  • Technical CUA model adaptation and HEOR evidence generation tailored to Scandinavian requirements and when needed develop models/analyses from scratch.

     

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant scientific field, e.g. economics, medicine, statistics, epidemiology or actuarial science, with training in health economic modelling or statistics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant HTA/HEOR experience, demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Experience with reimbursement submissions, data analysis and model adaptations/development.
  • Technical competencies e.g. in Excel and vba, R, Stata, Python, data science, machine learning, ITC or other relevant statistical analyses.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one Scandinavian healthcare system; experience across multiple Scandinavian countries is desirable.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in one Scandinavian language and in English.+
