About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with expertise in predictive modeling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling, and will be responsible for developing and implementing predictive models to drive business insights and decision-making.
What you'll do
- Develop, validate, and implement predictive models using various machine learning techniques.
- Manage end-to-end machine learning projects, including data collection, model training, and deployment.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Consult with the data engineering team to ensure the availability, quality, and integrity of data required for predictive modeling. This includes defining data requirements, assisting in the design of data pipelines, and validating the data to ensure it meets the analytical needs.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in predictive modeling and machine learning technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with DataRobot, Azure AutoML, or similar AutoML tools
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis, including deploying ML models to production environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Strong skills in data manipulation and preprocessing using tools like SQL, Pandas, or similar libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
