Job Description Summary:

JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Data Archive Analyst role is responsible for developing and supporting complex operational, analytical reporting and archive solutions.

• Leads the work with cross-functional partners to understand requirements for data use and analysis in support of solving significant, complex challenges
• Identify and converting data from internal and external sources into archival applications
• Guide complex solution design to meet data and integration requirements
• Create new metrics and KPI to support requirements and deliverables
• Identify new opportunities to efficiently preserve data while maintaining quality of use for customers
• Create new data visualizations to support complex enterprise challenges
• Coordinate with data owners to ensure data accessibility and quality
• Contribute to management of data governance, data warehouses and metadata

Responsibilities And Duties:

25% Identify and gather detailed business requirements, create technical documentation, clarify, interpret and translate specifications as required in order to develop an appropriate archive solutionEffectively document and communicate the technical data requirements, mapping designs, quality controls, and results to customers and vendors.
Create artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, and process flows.

25% Develops understanding of clinical workflows, business process flows and data relationships and operates in all phases of a Business Intelligence development life cycle which incorporates requirements definition, design, report development and deployment as well as support.Provides end user support in navigating application and troubleshooting to issue resolution

25% Provides technical expertise by working with vendors to establish proper hardware platforms, operating system levels and database versions for the applications assigned. Assumes responsibility for providing application architecture expertise to other technical managers like server, database, disaster recovery and security.Performs System Analysis and Programming including systems maintenance. Provides technical leadership on complex data archival projects.
Consults and collaborates with Enterprise Architecture team as needed.

25% Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering data structure and limitations, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Responsible for data design, coding, data validation, testing, debugging and documentation. May be responsible for multiple phases of a project. May have quality assurance review responsibilities in areas including messaging and collaboration, web technologies, wireless technologies, system interfaces, database querying and reportingUnderstand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks. Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly
Define and plan the implementation of application archive and execution of the solution.
Serves as lead project coordinator working with vendors, operational stakeholders, HIM, legal, and supply chain.
Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process.
Knowledge, collaboration, and ability to ensure data integrity, compliance, and legal regulations are maintained in data preservation. Leads and educates stakeholders on these policies and incorporates into the project plan.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Additional Job Description:

  • or equivalent years of experience.
  • Field of Study: Computer/Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, HealthCare, Nursing or Related Field 
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analytics and data archiving.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and EMR database structure
  • Project Management & agile experience preferred

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 
  • Knowledge of IT standards and controls 
  • Understanding of information principles and processes 
  • Understanding of financial models and budgeting 
  • Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps) 
  • Knowledge in strategic road mapping 
  • Knowledge of Agile techniques
