Machine Learning Engineer

Avigna is hiring Machine Learning Engineer

Our IT Delivery Center aims to build strong and sustainable solutions for customers across Europe. We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join the team to build, support, and drive customer innovations, bringing efficiency to the processes through effective management of cost and schedule.

Experience:

• 4+ years of professional experience working in relevant roles as a Machine Learning Engineer
• Strong coding experience in modern programming languages, especially Python (3+ years)
• Experience developing software products successfully deployed to production
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies for ML development (Google Cloud, Vertex AI preferred)
• Strong background in MLOps practices, ML pipeline development, and production deployment of ML applications
• Deep understanding of AI/ML techniques and familiarity with various frameworks
• Expertise in handling high-volume heterogeneous data (batch and stream) and solid knowledge of data structures, databases, and data storage technologies

Location:

• Stockholm, Sweden

Mode of Work:

• Onsite (Remote work not allowed)

Assignment Period:

• 26 May 2025 to 31 Oct 2025

Responsibilities:

• Develop AI/ML software products, including exploring large datasets, testing new algorithms, and optimizing model outputs
• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data infrastructure for AI/ML projects
• Apply software architecture principles and design patterns to create scalable, maintainable, well-structured solutions
• Develop frameworks and components addressing common AI/ML needs, such as feature reuse, model traceability, and A/B testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, including engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to enhance the AI ecosystem

Qualification:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Cloud certification required (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, team collaboration, and data-driven development
