The Copilot Ecosystem Team is hiring a Principal Product Manager to help lead this groundbreaking transformation across diverse industries and scenarios.
As a Prinicpal Product Manager you will work across our engineering teams and with some of the most innovative companies in the world to deliver engaging and transformative AI solutions for use by millions of end-users while also driving our platform growth strategy. You will also have a direct role in pushing the latest AI frontiers, including autonomous agentic workflows, deep research and reasoning, multi-agent frameworks, and complex data reasoning. You will get to work in a fast paced environment, predicated by rapid change, the opportunities enabled by ambiguity, and leveraging a mix of technical, business, and UX skills for maximum impact.

Responsibilities
- Drive key strategic initiatives related to ecosystem feedback, competitor signal, and product visioning with direct product impact.
- Capture, frame, and drive key business and product insights from the market to shape the future of Microsoft AI platform, apps, and developer toolset.
- Collaborate with product designers, architects, executives, and end-users from leading AI companies and solution providers to identify and validate strategic signals and drive incubation engagements.
- Lead scenario envisioning and UX+technical design to build and ship Copilot platform solutions; advise on GTM/adoption and evolving product and portfolio strategy.
- Serve as a key expert for Copilot platform capabilities; train, advise, and guide customers and partners on technical capabilities, solution design, and AI platform strategy.
- Develop and drive strategic initiatives to enable “hockey stick” ecosystem growth based on emerging agent capabilities, industry trends, and strategic partnerships.
- Research, contextualize, prototype, and evangelize frontier technology trends to drive long-term product shifts.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product management, software architecture, and/or software development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven experience building/designing AI applications and agents, including use of conversational UX, agent frameworks, and platforms like GPT and Copilot.
- Demonstrated technical depth with solutions leveraging generative AI, LLMs, or cloud services architecture through shipped products or solutions.
- Track record of success in planning and delivering commercial SaaS or enterprise technology solutions from pitch and envisioning to pilot and adoption.
- Experience presenting and explaining product and technology topics in-depth to executive and technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous business development and/or GTM-facing experience.
- Recent experience driving generative AI-based solutions (RAG, GPT, LLM) and general awareness of the rapidly-evolving AI, especially generative AI landscape.
- Hands-on experience or solid familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack (M365 Copilot extensibility, Copilot Studio, AI agents, Azure OpenAI, Graph Connectors, Microsoft Teams extensibility platform, etc.).

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
