Position Overview:

Canada Goose (CG) is looking for a talented individual to take a proactive role within the global Insights & Analytics function. The Sr. Analyst, Insights & Analytics will support the Global Ecommerce business and its partners with the goal of driving the performance of canadagoose.com and unifying data across Ecommerce touchpoints. This role will empower data-driven decisions across the end-to-end commercial experience and provide insights to influence strategic business decisions based on changing consumer behaviors.


What You'll Do:

  • Analyze website performance and identify opportunities to improve KPIs through funnel analyses, product performance analyses, and operational metrics analyses
  • Create comprehensive customer journey reports that track multi-touchpoint interactions
  • Create and maintain trade reporting that connects UX, Digital Product, Merchandising, Performance Marketing, and Brand Marketing functions
  • Review and refine (if necessary) current KPIs and micro conversion metrics
  • Review and maintain current measurement framework for new sites
  • Develop and implement metrics that effectively measure customer journey performance
  • Explore and suggest applications of emerging AI technologies for data analysis and automation
  • Serve as product owner for our digital analytics platforms including Google Analytics 4, Google BigQuery, Looker Studio, Power BI, ContentSquare
  • Ensure accuracy and hygiene of the data collected in GA4 and other analytics platforms
  • Work with and integrate multiple datasets from various sources (Order Management System data, Salesforce Commerce data, etc.)
  • Serve as product owner of our tag management platform: Google Tag Manager
  • Maintain and continuously improve our Data Layer, review and improve on current tagging methodology
  • Ensure that the current tagging is scalable and consistent across websites
  • Gather and share industry insights using various research portals and tools
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and methodologies in digital analytics

Let's Talk About You:

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in digital analytics
  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite (GA4, BigQuery, Google Tag Manager) and other Digital Measurement tools (Content Square)
  • Experience implementing tracking tags; thorough understanding of Data Layer concepts
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and analysis and Python for data processing and automation
  • Proficiency with visualization tools including Looker Studio, Power BI
  • Basic knowledge of CSS, HTML, DOM and JavaScript
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing (SEM, Display, SEO, social analytics)
  • Intermediate level in statistics (T-Test, Z-test, Chi-square test, ANOVA, Linear regression, Logistic regressions
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data and derive actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and report on customer journeys across multiple touchpoints
  • Comprehensive understanding of ecommerce trade - how various functions (UX, Digital Product, Merchandising, Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing) interconnect to drive business success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data in an accessible way
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis
  • Demonstrated curiosity and interest in emerging AI technologies and their applications for data analysis and automation
  • Up to date with digital and retail trends and technologies
