Purpose of the Role 

Join Diageo as a Sustainable Procurement Data Analyst and become an integral part of our dynamic Procurement & Sustainability Digital Insights team! In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of driving sustainability initiatives by collecting, validating, and ingesting critical data to support Diageo's Scope 3 carbon reporting. Your work will directly contribute to shaping the future of sustainable practices within our global operations.

You'll play a pivotal role in providing essential information that supports sustainability standards and frameworks, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Accountabilities and Responsibilities 

Data Collection:

  • Gather sustainability data from various internal and external sources.

  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Data Validation:

  • Validate collected data to meet quality standards.

  • Align data with external reporting requirements.

Data Ingestion:

  • Ingest validated data into Diageo's sustainability reporting systems and databases.

Reporting:

  • Support the preparation of Scope 3 carbon reports.

  • Ensure alignment with CSRD and other relevant sustainability standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners.

  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for improving data collection, validation, and reporting processes.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant sustainability standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University Degree in a quantitative (STEM) or environment/sustainability focussed discipline.

  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within a Supply Chain or Sustainability function.

  • Excellent data management and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software – including Excel, PowerBI and SAP.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ideally you should demonstrate active interest and knowledge in sustainability standards and frameworks, including CSRD.
