We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support a fast-paced, 12-week engagement focused on migrating an existing sales forecasting model to modern, scalable infrastructure using native GCP services like Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Composer.

If you love optimizing ML workflows and working on impactful data science problems using cloud-native tools, we want to hear from you!

HOW WE WORK

We are a remote-first, cross-functional team focused on building high-quality software through collaboration, agility, and innovation. Our development approach emphasizes:

✅ Daily commits to ensure rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
✅ Autonomous problem-solving, with a bias toward action.
✅ Honest and constructive feedback, fostering a culture of learning.
✅ Agile methodology, with short, incremental development cycles.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a hands-on ML engineer with practical experience migrating models and workflows into production-ready GCP environments.

You’re a strong communicator, comfortable working independently in short, high-impact cycles.

You know how to break down complex workflows into scalable, maintainable pipelines.

You’re passionate about using cloud-native services to build elegant machine learning solutions.

Tasks

🔁 Migrate a Sales Forecasting Model – Transition an existing model to GCP using Vertex AI for training/deployment.
🔧 Build Scalable Pipelines – Use Dataflow for data transformations and Composer (Airflow) for orchestration.
🧠 Leverage BigQuery – Integrate and query large-scale datasets to support model inputs and reporting.
🚀 Productionize ML Workflows – Ensure the new infrastructure is reliable, automated, and ready for ongoing business use.
🤝 Collaborate Closely – Work alongside data scientists and stakeholders to ensure functional and business alignment.

Requirements

✅ 4+ years of professional experience in ML engineering or data science roles.
✅ Hands-on expertise with GCP native services: Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer (Airflow).
✅ Strong Python skills and familiarity with modern ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost).
✅ Experience productionizing ML models and building robust data pipelines.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under tight timelines.
✅ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Benefits
